Sales Administration Officer

Maximum Salary: £27,000.00

Heyland Recruitment are working alongside this market leading specialist manufacturing organisation as they look to bring an experienced Sales Processing Clerk into their growing head office function in South Manchester. The role holder will be required to provide crucial support to the sales and finance teams as well as maintaining seamless communication between key areas of the business.


Main Duties;

  • Telephone and email liaison with customers and sales representatives
  • Accurately process incoming sales orders in timely manner
  • Generate returns and credit requests
  • Provide general information to customers
  • Resolve queries in relation to orders in a timely manner
  • Answer incoming calls and perform Sales Office duties
  • Make a positive contribution to maintain a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy
  • Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability as required by Supervisor
  • Invoice preparation and general office administration
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on all products, services, systems and processes
  • Ensuring order flow inline with company policies
  • Troubleshooting and identify process improvement
  • Work closely with other teams such as sales, production, warehouse and accounts to ensure process from purchase to delivery is smooth
  • Ensure the department is achieving objectives and hitting targets
  • Maintain order book
  • Arranging and dealing with transport
