I am currently recruiting for my client who has an immediate need for an accounts clerk to join the team on a temporary basis. The role will be part time – full days ideally on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There is potential for this position to pick up more hours as time goes by and may even become a permanent position for the successful candidate.

 

Main Duties

 

  • Purchase ledger duties
  • Sales ledger duties
  • Cash allocation
  • Answer the accounts phone & make calls as well etc
  • Ad hoc finance duties to support the finance manager

 

Good computer / excel skills ideally

 

The role will be Mon, Weds and Fri 8.30 to 5pm, this will be for c4-6 weeks and then review, it may become a little more ongoing / long term after review.

 

Salary – £17,000 – £19,000
