I am looking to recruit an ambitious Sales ledger Clerk to join a fast paced manufacturing business based in Wrexham. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the entire sales ledger function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and ambitious team with the opportunity to progress and develop internally.


Purpose of the Role


To provide a comprehensive Sale Ledger function.


Main Responsibilities


Raise all sales ledger invoices in a timely manner.

Accurate allocation of cash receipts.

Responsible for chasing debt and investigating and resolving any invoice queries.

Maintaining sales prices and discounts within the ERP system.

Set up and maintenance of customers, depots, finished goods records and barcodes within the ERP system.

Providing details of overdue accounts.

Cover other finance team functions when necessary.

Ad hoc duties as required.


Preferred Skills/Knowledge


Computer literate using MS Office and ERP systems

Intermediate Excel skills an advantage

Ability to work accurately within tight timescales

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative

Personal flexibility to meet the needs of the business



The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously within a medium to large organisation.


You will be AAT qualified or part qualified.


Study support will be provided for the successful candidate as well as clear career progression.
